It’s been nearly two years since Kylie Jenner stunned the world with Stormi‘s birth announcement after keeping her pregnancy journey under wraps for nine months.
Now, the 22-year-old is sharing another small piece of that journey with her fans on social media.
In the days immediately following Stormi’s birth date, February 1, 2018, Jenner and Stormi’s father, rapper Travis Scott, shared a YouTube video that gave fans a highlight reel of her nine-month pregnancy.

From pictures and videos to a short clip of Kylie and Travis meeting Stormi for the first time, the video has been viewed over 88 million times. And over the last two years, Kylie has, every so often, shared random snapshots from that time in her life with her fans on Instagram.
Most recently, the mom of one shared a photo she took of her belly shortly before she gave birth.

The mom wrote, “Throwback, pregnant with my baby girl. I can’t believe my daughter will be two soon.” Thousands of people commented on the photo encouraging Kylie to give Stormi a sibling. Many of her sisters also left comments of heart emojis under the photo.
In October, the billionaire beauty mogul shared what she described as her favorite photo from her pregnancy.
She wrote that carrying and birthing Stormi helped her become an even stronger and more independent woman.
“I have so many belly photos but this one has always been one of my favorites. Baking my little baby Storm was such a special time in my life. I actually became so much stronger and independent throughout the entire experience. Women really are amazing. Tag a strong woman in your life.”

However, aside from those photos, Kylie has kept much of her pregnancy journey to herself and that’s exactly how she intended it from the beginning. After announcing Stormi’s birth, Kylie shared a statement, explaining her decision to keep that part of life just for herself and those she loves the most.
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” she wrote. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how. […] I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”
The statement continued, “Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for your understanding.”
Kylie said in the past that she wants to have more children. However, with Kylie and Travis no longer together, it’s unclear when Stormi will get the younger siblings her mom wants her to have. Nonetheless, Stormi and Kylie seem like the perfect mother-daughter pair.
