Actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are the parents of two little girls 7-year-old Lincoln Shepard and 5-year-old Delta Shepard. And as a result of being a mom of two, Bell has made it a priority to always stay honest about the up and downs of motherhood and parenting.
Most recently the mom made headlines when she opened up about mom-shaming and how her daughter Delta is still in diapers at five years old. Bell is the host of an EllenTube show called Momsplaining. And during the most recent episode of the show, Bell opened up about potty training.

“It’s an interesting time to be a mom. It used to be that your mother-in-law was the only one who had an opinion on how you changed a diaper. And now everyone on the internet has an opinion too,” Bell said at the top of the show.
“You can never judge a mom by the sh*tshow. We’re all doing the best we can.”
While having a conversation with fellow moms and actresses, Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson,” the trio sat down to go through some relatable mom tweets and discuss them. One of the tweets talked about moms who always talk about how easy their kid is.
“I’m tired of new moms always saying their baby is such a good baby. I just once want to hear a mom be like, ‘Yeah, no my baby’s a real d*ck,'” the tweet said. And it was Bell’s reaction to the tweet that revealed Delta is still in diapers.
“I will say just because I did once go through the whole ‘my daughter is so easy’ phase. Sometimes it comes out of a reality because my oldest daughter at 21 months, we merely suggested that she used the toilet in the other room, never wore a diaper beyond that. And we were lying in bed giggling, my husband and I, like why does everyone make a big deal out of this? Potty training is so easy just tell the kid to use the toilet.”
“Currently, my youngest is 5-and-a-half, still in diapers,” Bell concluded.
Rudolph then responded saying, “it’s really relative isn’t it?” To which Bell agreed, saying, “Yes because every kid is so different.”
And as always, most of Bell’s fans loved the brutal honesty. One commenter wrote, “This was soooo needed, especially during this quarantine. Momming is f’n hard. Glad I’m not alone!”
However, despite the episode being about mom-shaming and how it’s never warranted, there were some people who commented on Bell’s potty-training honesty. “Ehhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnn, almost 6 and still in diapers?? That doesn’t sound right…”

But people quickly stood up for the actress. “To you, but don’t be so judge-y about it,” one person responded. “Oh the judgment here is harsh,” another added.
At the end of the hilariously honest video, Bell concluded the video by pleading her viewers to start giving moms the benefit of the doubt because they are all trying their best, usually on very little sleep.
