Kristen Bell is making sure that her children know that sharing is caring. In an interview with SELF magazine, the actress revealed that her two daughters, Delta, 5, and Lincoln, 6, do not have their own rooms.
The Frozen star and her husband Dax Shepard decided to use the idea of sharing a room as an opportunity to help the sisters build character.

“It’s very important to me that they share a bedroom,” Kristen shared with SELF. “I think their lives will be easier than most other people’s on the planet, and to develop a good character, it’s important to always be going through something. I like the fact that they will have to figure out how to share a bedroom.”

And The Good Place actress is not backing down from the arrangement. “Figure out how to share your closet. Figure out how to share your space. If that’s the worst thing about your life, that you have to share a bedroom with your sister, you’re going to be okay.”
Speaking on bedtime routines, the famous mama shared that the girls have solid nighttime rituals. “They have to connect patterns — life is about connecting patterns, right? So, as they got older it became we brush our teeth, we wash our hands, we put on our jammies and we read two books.”
While they may not always love sharing the same space, there is one thing the girls do agree on—their love of Harry Potter. “They love it. If we’re not listening to an audiobook, we read books.”
