The public may not see much of actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard‘s children, but their fans still get a glimpse of their personalities thanks to social media.
Being the children of two of Hollywood’s funniest stars, 6-year-old Lincoln Shepard and 5-year-old Delta Shepard, were bound to inherit a little bit of their parents’ humor. And Bell shared a glimpse of that humor a couple of times over the last year.

Once when she was trying to teach their daughters how to say the word specific, and again over the holiday break, when Shepard was explaining what using their middle fingers met and why it’s not nice.
Kristen Bell Couldn’t Keep a Straight Face During Husband’s Conversation With One of Their Daughters
The mom of two struggled to keep a straight face while videotaping herself listening to her husband explaining the meaning of “the finger” to their daughters. Watch Bell’s reaction for yourself in the video below:

According to the video, the finger and the word it stands for became a topic of conversation because one of their daughter’s classmates used it in school.
Bell joked that she had “been waiting for this conversation since the day I got pregnant. The one where we talk about what fingers mean what when you hold them up.”
In the background, you can hear one of their little girls explaining what happened at school and Shepard explaining how she shouldn’t do what her classmate did because it’s “naughty.” However, Bell nearly uses it when her daughter let the “f-word” fly while explaining the story, in a public restaurant.
The mom continued, writing, “I fidgeting because I am trying so hard not to laugh. It’s excruciating. Dax, you handled this brilliantly.”
