Kristen Bell Shares the (Kinda Gross) Story of Her Daughter’s First-Ever Visit to the Emergency Room

One of the internet’s favorite famous moms, actress Kristen Bell, shared a not-so-glam story about how her young daughter landed in the emergency room with an injured finger. The Frozen star shares two kiddos, Delta, 4, and Lincoln, 6, with husband Dax Shepard, but didn’t disclose which daughter had been injured.

In an Instagram post from the emergency room, Kristen dished on just what went down. “First emergency room visit. One hairline fracture and a finger smushed so hard in the door it popped like a jelly donut,” she shared.

She went on to thank the staff at Children’s Hospital L.A., saying “Thank you to all who helped my baby.” She also disclosed that she didn’t include a photo of the finger because it was far too graphic. “(Ps I’m not attaching a pic of the finger because there was literally burger popping out all over and it as pretty gross).”

Something tells us we don’t need to see a picture of that; the description is more than enough. So thanks, Kristen!

While we hate to hear about anyone ending up in the ER, especially a child, it’s wonderful that Kristen’s daughter received excellent care.
