Reality star Kourtney Kardashian has stepped back from the cameras to protect her three children. And according to a source close to the family, this mama has zero regrets about taking a break from filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
In fact, she’s enjoying her private time with her three little ones, whose wellbeings are her main priorities right now.

“She is happy to be filming less for both herself and the kids,” the source tells People. The source also added that the eldest Kardashian sister was becoming concerned by the negative attention being directed at her three children, Mason, 10, Penelope, 7 and Reign, 5.
Kourtney Kardashian Feels Good About Her Decision to Step Back From Filming Show
The Poosh founder amicably shares her children with former partner Scott Disick, who is often seen on the show. It’s unclear if her decision will ultimately decide Disick’s future on the show as well.
“As Kourtney and Scott’s kids get older, especially Kourtney feels that public exposure is not really beneficial for the kids. There are already trolls that post nasty comments about the kids,” adds the source. “They are too young to read about it yet, but Kourtney would hate for them to read it as they get older. She feels more and more protective of the kids.”
It was at the end of the show’s 17th season that the mom of three said she had finally reached her “breaking point” with filming the reality show. Seventeen years of constantly being in front of a camera does sound pretty exhausting.
But don’t worry, Kourtney fans, she’s not completely quitting the show and will even be featured feuding with sister Kim Kardashian West in the upcoming season. During an episode of Laura Wasser’s podcast All’s Fair, Kim shared that tensions at some point escalate with her sister and things even get “a little violent.”
