King Charles is sharing the major side effect he’s been dealing with while battling cancer.

Earlier this month, after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, Charles got back into working mode as he began accepting public engagements again.

During his most recent outing, the King revealed how he has been doing, while also sharing the sense he lost while undergoing cancer treatment.

While paying a visit to the Army Flying Museum in Hampshire on May 13, Charles spoke with British Army veteran Aaron Mapplebeck, The Sun reported. During their conversation, Charles shared that he is experiencing “loss of taste.”

On April 26, Buckingham Palace announced King Charles’ return. “His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis,” the Royal family revealed on Instagram.

Four days later, on April 30, the King and his wife, Queen Camilla, visited “a cancer treatment centre,” where they met “medical specialists and patients.”

As the statement continued, King Charles has prepared “a number of external engagements His Majesty will undertake in the weeks ahead.”

The palace also thanked the King’s supporters “as the first anniversary of The Coronation approaches.”

During an interview with Sky News Australia back in March, Charles’ nephew Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips called the King “very pragmatic,” as he battled cancer.

Nonetheless, Phillips said Charles was “hugely frustrated that he can’t get on and do everything that he wants to be able to do.”

Now, despite still dealing with some side effects, it seems as though King Charles continues to well.
