Children across the country are beginning to head back to school after (what feels like a very short?) summer break. Like many parents, Kim Zolciak-Biermann took a moment to share sweet back-to-school messages with her children before they started the year.
Kim’s school-age children — Kroy Jagger Jr., 8, Kash Kade, 6, Kane Ren, 5, and Kaia Rose, 5 — all headed back to school last week. Before they left, Kim left personalized motivational messages on orange Post-It notes around the house for each of her kids.
The Don’t Be Tardy star shared the notes via Instagram Stories, and they read:
“Kash — We are so proud of you! I know you will have the best day ever. We love you [love] Mom and Dad.”
“Kaia — We are so proud of you! Have an incredible 1st day! We love you [love] Mom and Dad.”
“KJ — We are so proud of you! I know you will have the best day ever love Mom and Dad.”
“Kane — We are so proud of you! Have an incredible day! Can’t wait to see you! Love your Mom and Dad.”
Last week, Kim also shared that she was “sad this morning” and shared a poem on Instagram called “A Mother’s 1st Day of School Prayer.”
“So hard for me last night and this morning!!,” she captioned the post. “I wanted so badly to put this prayer in their book bag BUT that last line ‘on this day know that my heart breaks’ would crush them so I kept it to myself and cried with Kroy.”
We’ve all been there, mama. We’ve all been there. The silver lining? Once everyone is back in the school-year rhythm, having the kids out of the house for a bit probably won’t feel like the tragedy it does right now.
