We wouldn’t exactly call Kim Kardashian-West’s life relatable, but we feel her struggle when it came to the pressure of deciding on a name for her youngest child.
During a recent interview on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan, the reality star confessed that she selected their little boy’s name, delivered via surrogate, at the absolute last minute. Watch that clip below.

“There’s like a grace period of when you have to name your child before you have to go into the government and do the paperwork,” shared Kim. “You’ve got 10 days.”
The mom-of-four confessed that she hit the 10th day without deciding on a name and called in her sisters for help. “In the morning, I woke up and Kanye was working and busy and I know our list and so I called every sister and was like, ‘What are you all doing?’ We had like an hour.”
Kim’s younger sister Kendall quickly came over and sister Kylie agreed to join the naming committee via FaceTime. “Kylie and I were vibing on the same name and so I have this big hallway and we’re screaming out every name like, ‘Psalm get over here!’ — trying to see what named we lived the best.”
It later came out that Psalm wasn’t Kendall’s first choice, but she has grown to love it.
No stranger to coming up with creative names, the mom shares children Chicago, 19 months, North, 6, Psalm, 4 months, and Saint, 3, with husband Kanye West.
Kim recently discussed the rumor that she is packing up the family and moving to Wyoming, where Kanye just bought a ranch. Though it is, apparently, his dream to live there, Kim says, “I love L.A…”
