Kim Kardashian was glowing as she walked the red carpet at The Kering Foundation’s third annual Caring for Women Dinner on Monday (Sept. 9), but that’s not the only thing about her that had us in awe.
While walking past members of the media, ET’s Rachel Smith asked the billionaire beauty mogul a few questions – one of which being about her son, Saint West, and his newly-created YouTube channel.
To everyone’s surprise, Kardashian shared a little glimpse of how the YouTube page is bringing Saint and his older sister, North West, closer together – and it’s the type of story that’ll make any parent smile.

“I will say, it has brought him and North closer together,” she said to ET. “She’s filming his content and making him do challenges, so I film some behind the scenes, and it’s actually a blessing in disguise.”
She goes on to say that she was ‘fighting against this’ at first, but it’s starting to finally work in her favor.
Kim Kardashian Closely Monitors Her Son’s YouTube Page
At the beginning of her response, Kardashian gave Saint West a shoutout and told everyone to go follow his page before sharing that it’s a bit of a struggle because she needs to approve all of her son’s videos.
Saint West (known as @TheGoatSaint on YouTube) created his channel on Sept. 2 and has already posted 37 videos – most of which are streams of him playing video games, like Call of Duty and Roblox.
In just nine days, West’s account has grown from 0 to 14,300 subscribers and more than 200,000 views.
Saint West Signed a Contract Before Starting Page
Kim Kardashian might’ve helped bring some attention to her son’s account, but she’s entering full ‘mom mode’ (and a little bit of business mode) with the contract she made him sign before creating the page.
“I finally allowed Saint to have a YouTube Channel after signing an extensive contract! lol,” she wrote in a caption in an Instagram Story on Sept. 3 – asking her fans and followers to ‘please subscribe’ to the page.

According to a follow-up Story, Kim made her son agree not to comment on personal family information and not to film any personal information or his sister, North West, while she’s making or recording music.
For those who didn’t know, North West announced that she’s currently working on her debut album titled Elementary School Dropout – a nod to one of Kanye West’s greatest albums, The College Dropout.
Kim Kardashian Shares Beautiful Message at ‘Caring For Women’ Dinner
Aside from the question about Saint’s new YouTube channel, ET’s Rachel Smith also asked Kardashian why it’s important for everyone to care for women – and Kim K answered back with a brilliant response.
“I can’t even believe that is a question!” she said – adding that it’s ‘just a necessity.’
“Anytime I can come and support – I was here last year – and I heard all of the support that goes into the care for women here and how serious they take it, and all the help that they put in,” she continued.
The third annual Caring for Women Dinner was another major success – raising nearly $3 million dollars to help support Girl Effect, It’s On Us, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).
Other notables in attendance included Salma Hayek Pinault, Matthew McConaughey, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lenny Kravitz, Donatella Versace, Naomi Watts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Katy Perry, and more.
