In an interview with Bari Weiss this week, Kim Kardashian admitted that the person who intimidates her most — is none other than her daughter, North West.
Recently, the 8-year-old went live without Kim’s permission on the app TikTok and of course, the subject of rule-breaking came up in a recent interview.
“The other day your daughter, North, went live on TikTok. She stumbled into your bedroom and she caught you in bed on your phone,” Bari Weiss shared. “I laughed and I couldn’t help but see the irony.”
“You did all the things. You say you follow the rules, but come on, you broke so many of the rules,” she said.
“Watching her go live and [hearing] you say, ‘it’s not allowed,’ I asked myself: ‘Isn’t it inevitable that she’s going to do with the newest media what you once did?’” she asked.
“Absolutely. I mean, North West is Kanye West’s daughter. Forget that — she’s his twin. So she will still definitely do all of the above,” Kim quipped.
“In my household, there are rules,” Kim explained.
“She did feel really bad about [going live], and she apologized to me and she said, ‘I saw on TikTok that I got in trouble and I’m really sorry.’ And she got it.”
Mason Disick, North’s cousin, seems to be looking out for her. Kim later revealed to Instagram that Mason, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick‘s first-child, texted her about North’s safety.

“Hi I don’t wanna disrespect north but I don’t think she should do the lives unless someone is with her because people are always screen recording and she might tell information that isn’t correct and stuff like that, that she will regret,” Mason’s texts began.
“I did the exact same thing as she did,” he went on to write. “I would do the lives and now I regret saying one of the things that I said.”
“I appreciate you looking out Mason,” Kim wrote back. “And I agree. She felt bad and I don’t think she will do it again but it could be good if you talk to her about it.”
In March 2020, Mason, who was just 10, set up an Instagram account without his parents’ permission and confessed a bunch of family secrets while going live.
