While Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West adore a minimalist approach to their home, it doesn’t mean their children share the same tastes!
Last week, Kim gave a tour for her Instagram followers of her kids’ epic playroom in a series of videos shared to her Instagram Story.
She began the tour by revealing the main area which boasts a concert-like stage where her kids “often have a band.”

On the stage is a drum set along with a bin filled with microphones for karaoke. In addition, an array of Takashi Murakami Flower Cushions are placed on the floor the floor; those cushions come in at around $600 to $6,000 each. The room also features a Kaws Companion Figure which costs upwards of $5,000.
Kim then revealed a room with a built-in projector that allows kids, North, 6, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and 9-month-old Psalm, to watch movies while they play.
The playroom also contains a collection of toy horses, a ball pit with an attachable slide, and an art easel for painting. The room also has a shelf of teddy bears as well as dinosaurs, which Kim says is for Saint, along with multiple dollhouses and baby carriages for Chicago.
And while it appears the room is where playtime happens, the West children also use the space to do their homework.
In a separate video, Kim showed her viewers a section of the playroom which features a table that is positioned in front of a well-manicured bookcase.
“This is where they do their homework. All in here is organized educational stuff,” Kim shared.

But after the kiddos are done doing schoolwork, they are welcome to do some light errand-running, which includes grocery shopping.
“This is Chi’s world over here,” Kim said as she panned the camera to reveal an ice-cream parlor by Styled by Mama along with a grocery store complete with an actual cash register.
“You can actually ring people up in the grocery store,” Kim shares as she rings up a piece of toy bread after it travels down the conveyor belt.
Chicago’s area also includes a mini washer and dryer so they can pretend to do laundry.
And last but not least, Kim then takes her followers inside a walk-in crafts closet.
The room is home to multiple bins that contain crayons, stamps, and play-doh — all pristine and organized with matching labels. In addition, there is also a selection of costumes in the closet.
“It’s a pretty organized area,” Kim says while displaying North’s princess slippers and tiaras.
“So, this is where my kids have fun,” Kim says, wrapping the tour.
The tour comes shortly after Kim revealed more details about her home alongside Kanye in their cover story in Architectural Digest‘s March “Star Power” issue.
