The makeup battle rages on in the Kardashian-West household. North West, Kim Kardashian-West and Kayne West’s six-year-old daughter, has been known to experiment with her mom’s lipstick, blush and more, much to the chagrin of Kanye.
It’s only a little funny, when you think about it, to think Kanye, who married into a family of beauty moguls and models, is so staunchly against the idea of his daughter playfully using makeup.

Kim and Kanye Are Fighting About Makeup (Still)
Kim, who was at Ulta Beauty for an event for KKW Beauty, spoke with E! News about the on-going argument about when North should be allowed to wear makeup. According to Kim, Kanye insists she has to wait until she’s at least a teenager.
“North is trying to get in on the makeup but she’s being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager,” Kim said to E! News. “It’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what’s best.”
Kim admitted, though, that’s it’s only natural North would be interested given that she watches the reality star put on makeup on a daily basis.
“I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realized we didn’t really want her to wear makeup at a young age but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss,” she continued.
Kim also spoke to the outlet about her upcoming holiday plans and noted that while life can be hectic, she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Being a mom of four is definitely really hectic but it feels so complete. I’m obsessed with my kids. I’m obsessed with being a mom of four,” she said. “I’m definitely done though and feel four is my limit. I believe that everyone needs so much attention and I need to be available to give it to everyone.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only issue of its kind that Kim and Kanye are coping with. Recent reports claim that Kanye, who felt Kim’s most recent Met Gala look was “too sexy,” is trying to lay down the law about what Kim can wear out of the house.
While we understand that parenting decisions are best left to the parents in question, Kanye’s tendency towards controlling the women in his life is… not a great look. Anyway, you can stream Jesus Is King now, if that’s your thing.
