Kevin Federline continues to publicly bash the mother of two of his sons after he shares videos of Britney Spears disciplining their kids.

In now-deleted Instagram posts, Federline decided to take further action against the pop star by sharing videos recorded by Jaden and Sean Preston from years earlier. The videos show Spears having stern conversations with her teenage sons while spending time with them.

You can watch clips of the videos below:

In one of the frames, Spears is heard telling her sons that they “better start respecting me. Are we clear?” To which they respond by saying, “Yeah.”

In another clip, Spears tells one of her sons, “I don’t even know what to say with you. I am in shock.” To which one of the boys responds back saying, “Then don’t talk.”

Now people are debating the question; were these videos shows of emotional abuse or of the common struggle most parents have with preteen children?

“I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12,” Federline wrote in the caption of the now-deleted post.

“This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.” The caption included the hashtag #NeverFearTruth.

The decision to share the videos comes after Spears and her husband Sam Asghari hit back at Federline after an interview he did with Daily Mail. In the interview, Federline told the reporter that their sons made the decision to no longer spend time with their mom.

“The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now,” Kevin said of her sons.

“It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.”

He went on to tell the Daily Mail that he believes the conservatorship she was under “saved” her life. “This whole thing has been hard to watch, harder to live through, harder to watch my boys go through than anything else,” he said of Britney detailing her life post conservatorship.

“It’s been tough. It’s the most challenging thing I’ve ever had to do in my life,” Federline continued.

“I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”

The father added that he hopes his interview will help open Britney’s eyes in to how her lifestyle affects her kids. “If there was a way – any way – I could possibly say something to just open [Britney’s] eyes – but I haven’t found that yet. I feel like if I found that, I’d be on the phone trying to tell her.”

Spears is now responding to Federline’s decision to post the videos through her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart. Rosengart called Federline’s action “cruel” and “bottom of the barrel stuff.”

“Britney Spears is a brilliantly-talented, extremely-hardworking icon, who is rightfully beloved and respected by millions around the world. The same, unfortunately, cannot be said about Mr. Federline, who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children,” Rosengart said in his statement.

“Britney has faithfully supported her children and she loves them dearly. Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect. Putting aside his ITV interview, Mr. Federline’s ill-advised decision to post an old video of his 11 and 12-year-old children was cruel, bottom-of-the-barrel stuff.”

Rosengart continued, saying, “We are working with Instagram to ensure that Mr. Federline adheres to its rules and we are exploring all appropriate relief against him. In the meantime, as Britney herself poignantly said, whatever is occurring between her and her boys should remain private. We urge Mr. Federline to act with a measure of grace and decency and to cease from publicly discussing private matters, which benefits no one.”
