Kendra Duggar gave birth to her daughter, Addison Renee, on November 2, and the experience was definitely memorable in more ways than one.
The Counting On star, who let cameras into the hospital room during her labor and delivery, can be seen crying and struggling to breathe in a video of the birth shared on TLC’s site.

Throughout the labor, Kendra’s mom, Christina Caldwell, and her sister, Lauren Caldwell, were in the delivery room to help coach her through the painful moments.

Kendra gave birth to her son, Garrett in June 2018, and had similar issues, particularly with breathing.

At the time, she said, “I tend to want to stop breathing and just kind of hold my breath when I’m in a lot of pain. And that’s something that even during my childhood I’ve had to work on when I would fall down – to remember to breathe and not hold my breath because that causes more problems.”
The couple’s birth special will air on an upcoming episode of Counting On on TLC. Ahead of it, the family shared new photos of Addison and their growing family on their Instagram. “We are so excited to share photos of our family of four! We are so in love with Addison.”
