Kelly Osbourne is opening up about her recent weight loss. In an interview with the Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn podcast on Thursday, Osbourne shared that her new look is thanks to a surgery she underwent two years ago.
“I had surgery; I don’t give a f**k what anyone has to say,” she told the hosts of the podcast. In fact, her decision to go through gastric sleeve surgery is something she’s proud of. “I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck s**t.”

As a result of the procedure, Osbourne reveals she’s lost somewhere around 85 pounds in total. According to UCLA, “the Gastric Sleeve Surgery is a bariatric procedure that removes 75-80% of the stomach. It is now the most commonly performed bariatric procedure in the United States and worldwide.”
The 35-year-old went on to explain that after she recovered from the surgery, she still how to put in the work to make sure the weight did come off and will stay off. “The kind of surgery I had […] if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction. So, anyone who’s thinking of doing something like this, really think about that.”
The surgery also helped her in her fight against alcohol addiction. About a year before her surgery, in order to stop drinking, Osbourne revealed she “had to do a year of stand-alone therapy to prepare myself for the surgery before I even had it.” Now, nearly two years after her surgery, it is helping her stay away from alcohol.
“What people don’t realize is, it cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me.”
Osbourne then continued how she now feels about Hollywood having lost close to 100 pounds. “My weight loss made me resentful at Hollywood. So f**king resentful. Because when I was fat, I was invisible. They didn’t want to work with me, they didn’t want to do anything with me.”
However, now Osbourne says she knows exactly who she will work with in the future, and who she won’t work with. “I know who called me fat, I know who didn’t want to work with me. I know exactly who said it. I’ve got really thick skin, but I take that, and I put it into my memory bank. I remember what you said about me, and that’s the best revenge.”
