Actress and single mom Katie Holmes is sharing what she and her 14-year-old daughter Suri have been up to since self-quarantining at home. Holmes, who often keeps her life as a mom to Suri Cruise as private as possible, shared a photo to Instagram that revealed how they’ve been filling their time together.
In the photo, Holmes chooses to hide their faces and only show off their impressive tie-dye creations. While Holmes tie-dyed a pair of white pants, Suri opted to tie-dye an oversized white t-shirt.

Holmes simply captioned the photo with the hashtag “Tie Dye” and three blue butterfly emojis. Several commenters mentioned how the mother-daughter duo “are almost twins now!!!”
And others mentioned some of the things they are doing with their own kids in quarantine. “Nice!! We have only tried the black t-shirts and bleach, they turned out good too!!”
And another commenter added, “We are just now pulling out tie-dye goods. We’ve been waiting on sunny weather here in Oregon…looks like it’s finally heading our way. It is so much fun and taps into the creative flow. Yours are lovely.
But what people really couldn’t stop looking at was just how big Suri has become.
“Is this you and your baby? Wow,” someone commented. “Gorgeous mama and daughter.” And another person added, “Oh my goodness Suri looks like a young woman! I’m still picturing her as a pre-teen. Beautiful photo!”
Also while in quarantine, Holmes and Suri celebrated her 14th birthday on April 18. To celebrate, it appears as though they made a beautiful homemade sign that read “happy birthday” and floral crowns to wear on her big day.
“Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!!!!! I am so blessed to be your mom. May this year be incredible!” Holmes wrote on her daughter’s big day.
