Kanye West is dating but is keeping tabs on his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian‘s current boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson.
West rapped in a teaser for a new song, “God saved me from that crash/ just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”
The reference is to a car crash from West’s past. The song is titled “My Life Was Never Eazy,” and is a collaboration with rapper The Game. However, the timing of the teaser is ominous as West is currently a suspect in connection to a battery.
LAPD spokesperson Redina Puentes said the alleged attack happened at around 3 a.m. near Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street, just outside of the Soho Warehouse at an exclusive club in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
And while police did not release details on the incident, Fox LA reported that a fan walked up to Kanye’s car and requested an autograph. This led to an argument, which led Kanye to allegedly punch the fan, knocking them to the ground.
Puentes said police were called to the area and a report was taken at the site, but no arrests have been made. Kanye had been at a nightclub in West Hollywood earlier on Wednesday night with Julia Fox but allegedly left the club early.

The news comes after Ye addressed some of his past controversial “misactions” in pursuit of winning back estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
At the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving event, Kanye decided to take a moment to talk about his family. This is the second time that Kanye has spoken on the split since Kim filed for divorce back in February this year.
“The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships,” he began. “We’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband.”
“But right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change the narrative.”
“I’m not letting E! write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family,” Kanye continued. “I am the priest of my home.”
