Kanye West shared a poem to his Instagram last Saturday just days after ex Kim Kardashian was declared legally single in court.
Kim, who filed for divorce from him last February, began dating her now-boyfriend, Pete Davidson, in late October.
After Kim and Pete were seen together after their joint Saturday Night Live appearance that month, West dismissed the divorce and claimed he had “never even seen” the divorce papers.
West continued harassing Kim with multiple grand gestures despite being in her new relationship with Pete. Kanye even begged her to “run right back” to him onstage at his concert in December.
And it didn’t stop there. Kanye went on to repeatedly call out, threaten and intimidate both Pete and Kim over a series of since-deleted Instagram posts.
One of the ways Kanye called out Kim was when he took a stab at Kim’s parenting style after Kim allowed their eldest daughter, North, 8, to have an account on TikTok that is managed by Kim.
The subject of raising their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, has been a constant issue throughout their relationship and since their split, the two have continued to butt heads on the issue of parenting.
In her only statement addressing it, Kim actually called Kanye out for “constant attacks” last month after he denounced her for allowing North on TikTok.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she wrote, opening a lengthy message that appeared on her Instagram story.
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness,” Kim added, referencing the TikTok account that she technically operates alongside North, given her daughter’s young age.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” she continued. “From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
