Three days after welcoming their little girl into the world, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth have introduced her to the world. On August 24, Joy-Anna took to Instagram to reveal that their little bundle of joy made her arrival on August 21 at 2:12 p.m.

What they didn’t share was the name they gave their daughter. At birth, Baby Girl Forsyth weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. “She has the best personality,” the mom of two wrote. “[She] is easy going and loves to be held!”

“To say my heart is full is an understatement. We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived. […] She has her nights and days mixed up, but honestly, I love it! Getting to spend that quiet, quality time with her through the night has been SO special!”

It’s unclear if the proud parents just simply don’t want to share their little one’s name yet or if they have yet to pick one out. Nonetheless, Joy-Anna has promised her fans that more updates are “to come soon.”

Joy and Austin’s newest bundle of joy comes a little over a year after they suffered through a devastating miscarriage at 20 weeks. In June 2019, the couple revealed at the appointment where they were supposed to learn the gender of their child, they were told that they could find “a heartbeat or see any movement.”

At the time, Joy-Anna wrote, “Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord.”

After announcing she was pregnant again following her miscarriage, Joy-Anna admitted in a YouTube video that she wasn’t “as scared as I thought I’d be after miscarrying at 20 weeks. I thought I was going to be so nervous, but I’m not. I’m excited. It’s crazy. We’re super excited, nervous, and thankful all at the same time.”

Now, they are basking in the joy of officially meeting their rainbow baby, who joins big brother Gideon. As E! News reported, “the baby was born without complications and Joy-Anna and her daughter are doing great.” Congratulations!
