The Jonas Brothers are facing major backlash after making a big announcement.

In a very quick video shared to the band’s social media accounts, the three musical brothers revealed they were “shifting” the dates of the European leg of their tour.

In the video the brothers said the reason for the shift is because they have several conflicting, yet “exciting” other projects in the works.

Europe!! We’re shifting our upcoming shows to later this year. We appreciate your love and support so much. We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming ???? All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date and info is at Jonasbrothers.com. More details will be sent out on email. Latin America – We can’t wait to see you next week!! ❤️

“European fans, we love you, we can’t wait to see you, it’s been long overdue,” Nick said in the announcement. “And we are so excited to play these shows later this year, in the fall.”

“So make sure you hold on to your tickets,” Kevin added. “We will be having more information to come, but we cannot wait to see you.”

In the caption, the Jonas Brothers wrote, “We appreciate your love and support so much. We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming ????.”

Nick, Kevin, and Joe didn’t seem upset that they had to make the announcement, but the fans planning to attend the shows in Europe are furious.

“Exciting projects doesn’t really cover the cost of the hotels and flights people booked,” one commenter wrote.

“Are you going to pay for the flights and hotel bookings that I just wasted my money on now,” another fan questioned.

Several commenters were upset that the Jonas Brothers’ announcement didn’t even contain a simple “we’re sorry.” “Did they grow up with money or something? Because how do they not even apologize to the people who booked flights and hotels.”

“It’s actually insane to announce it this way with 0 mention of refunds for a tour that starts in a month. I’m so disappointed,” one commenter wrote. “People can’t afford to ‘shift’ their plans in this economy.”

The band has not yet addressed the backlash.
