Nearly three years after Kelly Preston passed away from breast cancer at the age of 57, her husband, John Travolta is keeping her memory alive this Mother’s Day.
On May 14, Travolta took to his Instagram page to share a video. The video was made up of a clip of Preston celebrating Mother’s Day years ago. She could be seen opening a gift and admiring it.
Travolta captioned the emotional video, saying, “Happy Mother’s Day Kelly. We miss you and love you! Love, Ben, Ella, and John.”
Travolta and Preston were married for nearly three decades before her passing.

Most recently, in celebration of Ella’s 23rd birthday, John and Ella took to social media to share sweet words to each other. The father-daughter duo celebrated the special occasion with a trip to Disney.
Ella is taking after her father’s love of music, as she has already began recording and producing her own repertoire of songs. And on her birthday, Ella thanked her famous dad for always being there no matter what.
“I want to thank everyone for the kindest warm wishes on my birthday and to the best Dad in the world for making it the most incredible day,” Ella wrote.
Her dad then added, “Here’s a song for you on your birthday my dearest Ella! I love you with all my heart!! Your Dad!!”
Last year, in celebration of Father’s Day, John Travolta shared a few throwback images in honor of Father’s Day as well. And it’s clear, Travolta’s greatest joy is being a dad.
“It’s privilege to be a father. I love you, my babies. Happy Father’s Day to everyone,” he wrote.
