Nearly two weeks after it was revealed Bob Saget passed away, his beloved friend and co-star John Stamos is sharing more touching memories of Saget’s incredible life.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, just hours before Saget passed away, he performed one of his stand-up routines for a large crowd in Florida. After putting on the comedy show, Saget shared a photo of himself on stage and just how much he enjoyed himself.

“Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences. Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening,” Saget continued. “I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.”
Saget then revealed that he was gearing up for more shows on January 28 and 29. He had the goal of “Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this sh*t. Peace out.”
Now, John Stamos has shared his initial thoughts after seeing Bob Saget’s last post and hearing the news of his passing.
Alongside an emotional video of some of Saget’s best moments over the years, John Stamos wrote, “When I saw his last Instagram post, my first thought was he looked too ‘alive’ to die a few hours later.”
“But when I really thought about it, Bob did it right. We should all want to ‘Die Alive.’ We don’t want to be filled with regret and remorse, forgotten, and discarded. We want to be overwhelmed with the privilege of doing what we do best. Bob felt young, energized, grateful, and appreciated. He died bright and fierce.”
And many people agreed. As actress Yvette Nicole Brown commented, “I love you, friend. And I’m so sorry for this great loss. But this video and your caption made me smile. You’re right. Bob did it right. And I’m so happy he got to have that last great show before he went home to glory.”

Just a couple of days after Saget’s passing, initial autopsy findings found Saget’s cause of death to be inconclusive and required further investigation. However, it was made clear by Joshua Stephany, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola Counties, that “there was no evidence of drug use or foul play.”
“The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete. Our condolences go out to Mr. Saget’s loved ones during this difficult time,” Stephany continued.
Saget was found in his Ritz Carlton hotel room on January 9. He was just 65 years old.
