More than seven months after initial reports revealed actress Sophie Turner and pop star Joe Jonas have finalized their divorce, a Florida judge has signed the confidential agreement.
This declares both Jonas and Turner single.
While the details of their confidential agreement are not public, the Associated Press reports that various documents reveal “moderated negotiations led to an agreement on splitting assets, spousal support and custody of their two daughters, 4-year-old Willa and 2-year-old Delphine.”
After coming to a “quiet and quick” divorce agreement, Judge Gina Beovides also agreed that their agreement and parenting plan was in the best interest of their family, according to the AP.
Judge Beovides declared their marriage “irretrievably broken” one year after Jonas and Turner filed to end their four-year marriage.
In October 2023, one month after Jonas filed for divorce in September, the former pair shared a rare joint statement regarding their divorce after coming to a temporary custody agreement, People reported.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents,” Jonas and Turner wrote in the statement.
The only other statement Jonas and Turner made about their divorce was after they initially filed. “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the statement read.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
