Nearly two weeks after filing for divorce from her husband of two years, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is sharing some photos from her personal collection.
On Sept. 1, Lopez took to Instagram to share a series of photos she took over the summer. She captioned the carousel of images, writing, “Oh, it was a summer.”
She also shared a message within the carousel, writing, “Everything is unfolding in divine order.” Lopez followed that message up with another that read, “she’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace.”
This is the first personal message Lopez has shared publicly since filing for divorce.
In the comment section, fans shared encouraging message with the singer. “That bounce back is beautiful!! Thank you for finding YOUR peace and happiness. You deserve all things BEAUTIFUL,” one fan wrote.
“Everyone’s stories are already written out for everyone. Just buckle up and enjoy the beautiful/crazy/wild ride that’s in store for you,” another added.
Fellow actresses Leslie Mann and Lucy Hale also showed their support by sharing the red heart emoji.
As it’s been previously reported, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck first and without using a lawyer. An unusual move by someone seeking to legally end a marriage.
And in an interview with People, the matrimonial partner at Blank Rome LLP, Marilyn Chinitz explained that Lopez’s decision to file without the help of a lawyer could mean the singer “most likely just wanted to get this done.”
Lopez and Affleck married in 2022 after rekindling their romance in 2021 following ending their first engagement in 2003.
In court documents, the singer listed their date of separation as April 26. It was in May that rumors began to swirl around the status of her and Affleck’s relationship.
