Congratulations to actress Jenna Dewan, who just announced she is pregnant and expecting her second child!
Dewan, 38, and boyfriend Steve Kazee, 43, are expecting their first child together, the couple shared with People earlier today. Dewan is already mother to 6-year-old daughter Everly, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Channing Tatum.
“We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” they told People.
Kazee and Dewan began dating last year, shortly after Dewan announced her split from Tatum, whom she’d been married to for almost nine years.
The new couple has largely kept out of the spotlight, although recently they’ve been more public with their affections, sharing photos from shared vacations and romantic moments.
Dewan is already mother to a 6-year-old daughter, Everly, whom she shares with Tatum.
It will be Kazee’s first child.
Further details — Dewan’s due date, whether they’re having a boy or a girl, etc. — are not yet known at this time, but expect further information to trickle out over the next few months.
On Valentine’s Day this year, Kazee shared a photo of Dewan on Instagram with a very beautiful caption.
“Somehow, inexplicably, I’ve been granted the honor to have this be the person that I get to be side by side with throughout this wild journey we call life,” the caption begins.
“Jenna I don’t know what I did to deserve your love but I will always be so thankful that our lives found their way to each other. Here’s looking at you, kid. Happy Valentines Day my love,” it concludes.
It seems like Dewan and Kazee have found the real thing, and we could not be happier for them as a couple and as parents-to-be!
Dewan split from husband Channing Tatum in early 2018 after nearly nine years of marriage. At the time, they said of their decision to divorce: “There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
Dewan and Tatum still work together to co-parent their daughter, Everly.
