I think we can all agree that Twitter feuds never end well. Case in point: Amber Portwood, who was recently arrested for domestic assault against her boyfriend, took to Twitter to comment on Jenelle Evans‘ latest drama.
After she was released on bail, Portwood posted an Us Weekly story about Evans’ relationship with David Eason on Evans’ timeline. Portwood commented on the story about the couple’s volatile relationship, saying, “Jenelle confirms she’s leaving David!!?!”
Fans were not impressed with Portwood’s tweet — or her timing. Twitter user @TeresaTmarquez responded, “Why comment on someone else’s life when you have your own stuff to deal with right now.” Another said, “Still absolutely obsessed with Jenelle. Get help Amber.”
Another follower commented, “She won’t. But I hope you get help instead of jail.”
Fans called for MTV to fire Portwood following her arrest, just as they had fired Evans after she lost custody of her children. “@MTV are you going to prove your hypocrisy and not kick her off the show for a second instance of violence?,” said @Mike_Lordi.
Prior to her recent arrest, Portwood opened up on Teen Mom OG about her mental health struggles, including living with bipolar disorder. She and boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, were filmed speaking candidly about their struggles during a therapy session.
The arrest on July 3 was Portwood’s third. She pleaded guilty in 2011 to two felony domestic battery counts after a fight with ex Gary Shirley and later served 17 months in prison after violating probation in a drug possession case.
Unfortunately, Portwood doesn’t seem to have learned from any of this. She is still posting links to story about Jenelle with sensationalized captions.
Stay tuned for more on Jenelle Evans vs. Amber Portwood, because you know this is far form over.
