After days of rumors, Ben Affleck’s team is speaking out.
More than a week after Jennifer Lopez filed for a divorce from Affleck without counsel, the rumor mill ran rampant.
As a result, Affleck, 52, became affiliated with Robert J. Kennedy’s daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, 36. Multiple unnamed sources went on record to say Affleck and Kennedy had been “spending time together,” People reported.
Now a spokesperson for Affleck is speaking out.
On Aug. 27, Jen Allen told People, “There is no truth to any of it,” responding to the rumors that Affleck is dating Kennedy.
“I don’t know if they even know each other,” Allen continued.
While filing for divorce on Aug. 20, Lopez cited April 26 as their separation date. Affleck and Lopez wed in 2022 after rekindling their romance in 2021.
The estranged couple first dated for several years in the early 2000 before becoming engaged in 2003 and breaking off their engagement shortly before what was to be their first wedding.
Lopez said in a past interview, the pressure of the public became too much for them and they ultimately went their separate ways.
Neither Lopez nor Affleck have shared personal statements regarding the demise of their marriage. Affleck has not yet responded to Lopez’s divorce filing in court.
Despite rumors surrounding Affleck’s love life, KTLA reports that gamblers are using Bet Online are putting their money on who they believe will be Lopez’s next partner. Currently, rapper Eminem is believed to have the best odds of dating the performer next.
