How Many More Kids Will Nick Cannon Have? Even He Has ‘No Idea,’ But He’s ‘Good Right Now’

Nick Cannon loves being a father – he says it’s his No. 1 priority when he wakes up in the morning. His day-to-day life is a little different than most fathers, though. Not only does he have a busy professional career, but he has had 12 children, one of whom passed away last year, with six different women.

A majority of those kids have come in the past two years. He had one child in 2020 (his fourth overall) but then had three children in 2021 and four more children so far in 2022. His most recent child was born on November 11th and he’ll be having his fifth child of 2022 with Alyssa Scott sometime in December.

By the end of the year, Cannon will have 12 children total and while he couldn’t be happier, he’s unsure if he’ll have any more coming in the near future. “I don’t know, man. I have no idea. I think I’m good right now!” said Cannon during a recent interview at the Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event.

The Billboard Live interview was his first since the birth of his 11th child – a healthy daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, who is already more than a week old! It’s his third child with Abby De La Rosa after the two welcomed twin sons – named Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian – on June 14, 2021.

Now, Nick Cannon is preparing for yet another child in December – this one with Alyssa Scott, a former model for his Wild ‘N Out show that now airs on VH1. Scott and Cannon originally had a son on June 23, 2021. Unfortunately, the baby boy suffered from a brain tumor and passed away on December 5, 2021.

“That’s my No. 1 priority, obviously. I wake up being a father thinking about my kids and everything else comes after that. My kids are definitely the creative force in all that I do. They’re the funniest, most innovative, best questions…every project I’m working on now is through their eyes,” said Cannon.

It’s clear that Cannon takes his role as a father seriously, which is exactly what you want to see from anyone who has or is expecting to have a child. He loves his kids and will always find a way to spend time with them, even if it means putting his professional life on hold. Whatever the case, he’ll make it work.

Nick Cannon Continues to Grow His Beautiful Family

Nick Cannon started building a family with singer-songwriter Mariah Carey in 2011 when the couple – who married in 2008 – welcomed a set of fraternal twins named Monroe and Moroccan. Little did Cannon know that 11 years later he would be a loving father to 10 additional children with five different women.

Child No. 3 – Golden Sagon Cannon – was born on February 21, 2017, with model-dancer Brittany Bell and they welcomed a second child – Powerful Queen Cannon – on December 23, 2020 (his fourth total). Their third child together (Cannon’s 10th) was born on September 23, 2022 – Rise Messiah Cannon.

We already mentioned his three children with De La Rosa – Zillion, Zion, and Beautiful – and two children with Scott – one of which passed away, one of which is on the way – but that’s not all of it. He also had a son named Legendary with Bre Tiesi and a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole in 2022.
