In celebration of her daughter’s fifth birthday, Hayden Panettiere is sharing never-before-seen photos of her little girl. On June 8, Panettiere revealed that she decided to make a public Instagram page in order to connect with her fans.
“Hello everyone! Finally posting publicly. [I] hope everyone is staying healthy and safe,” Panettiere wrote.

Shortly after making her account public, the mom of one shared a few never-before-seen photos of Kaya Evdokia Klitschko in honor of her birthday. The first photo Panettiere shared was of Kaya painting the mold she made of her belly when she was pregnant with her daughter in 2015.
“I took this mold of my belly when I was pregnant and my daughter Kaya begged me to let her draw on it. After I explained to her how DELICATE and special it is to mommy, I finally gave in and said yes. Luckily daddy helped her with a little outline for her to color in.”
Panettiere co-parents Kaya with her former partner Wladimir Klitschko. Her second post was a photo of her holding her little girl tightly in her arms along with a birthday message.
“[It] seems like this picture was taken yesterday. [I] can’t believe my baby is 5 already! Time flies,” the actress wrote on Instagram. In an interview with Southern Living, Panettiere opened up about how motherhood changed her life from figuring out who her true friends were to dealing with postpartum depression twice.
“The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life. Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck.”
And now that Panettiere was able to get through her battles with PPD, the mom said, “I can’t say that anything is typical or ‘the norm’ about any day of the week now that I’m the mom of a 2-year-old. She gets her hands in just about everything, and my biggest job at the moment is keeping her alive!”
