On last week’s episode of Just a Little Shady, Hailie Jade Scott opened up about her pregnancy for the first time since announcing the news in her father’s new music video, “Temporary” by Eminem, on Oct. 3.
“You may or may not be tuning in because you could have heard the news that I’m pregnant. Yay! We finally shared it. It’s such a relief to finally say it,” she said, alongside co-host and BFF Brittany Ednie.
At one point during the episode, the two start talking about Scott’s wedding in May and, more specifically, Ednie’s drunken monologue that allegedly went on for 30 minutes.

Ednie defended herself by revealing the real reason she was drinking so much at Scott’s wedding.
“I need to also defend myself now that this is public knowledge, that you are pregnant, because, at said wedding, people did not know that she was pregnant,” Ednie said.
In order to hide the pregnancy from guests, Ednie was secretly chugging Scott’s drinks to make it appear as if she was drinking all night.
And since Scott’s husband, Evan McClintock, wasn’t in the party mood that night, Ednie was the only one around who could help.
“Brittany was taking one for the team,” Scott said, adding that “never really asked” her to do it. “It was like an unspoken thing with our eyes.”
Hailie Jade shares pregnancy announcement photos
On Oct. 3, just as everyone was finding out about her pregnancy through the music video, Hailie Jade shared a series of pregnancy announcement photos on Instagram.
“mom & dad est. 2025” she wrote in the caption.
Hailie Jade and McClintock got engaged on Feb. 4, 2023, nearly two months after he asked her father for his blessing at her 27th birthday party in December 2022.
“I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time,’” McClintock revealed in a previous podcast episode.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Battle Creek, Michigan earlier this year. Scott announced the news with a wedding photo of the bride and groom kissing.
“Waking up a wife this week,” she wrote in the caption. “Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
And in just a few months, Hailie Jade and McClintock will be waking up a mother and father. And Eminem will be wearing his Detroit Lions “Grandpa” jersey with pride.
