Thanks to a since-deleted poem her father wrote and shared on Instagram, many of model Gigi Hadid‘s fans think she and singer Zayn Malik have welcomed their baby into the world. In fact, Mohamed Hadid‘s Instagram post only added fuel to the rumor fire as one of Gigi’s sister’s Instagram posts may have got them started.
In September, Bella Hadid took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Gigi that was taken on June 11. The photo showed Gigi showing off her growing baby bump, while Bella joked that her “bump” was due to a hamburger she just ate.

“June 11, 2020,” Bella captioned the photo. “Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and Gigi’s is from Zayn. I love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying.” Many of Gigi’s fans started to think that Bella posted the photo to reminisce on her sister’s pregnancy because Gigi already gave birth.
Not long after Bella posted to Instagram, so did their father, Mohamed. And although the post has since been deleted, Page Six has reported what the poem said.
“Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun & moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always here, I’ll do anything, anything for you, my dear. When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew my heart would always belong to you.”
After tagging Gigi in the post, he used the caption of the picture to let his daughter know how proud he is of her. “In the name of God [the] merciful I want to say l love you and [am] so proud of you.”
News of Gigi and Zayn’s pregnancy first broke in April. And while Gigi and Zayn admitted that the way in which the exciting news of their first child was revealed was not what they didn’t want, they couldn’t be more excited for this bundle of joy to make them a family of three.

Neither Gigi nor Zayn have public revealed whether or not Gigi has given birth.
