For two days, a woman from Marion County was missing. Now, many are saying it was God who put a fisherman in the right place at the right time.
On April 7, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook to share a story that can only be described as a miracle.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, it was Friday morning, April 7, when they received a call from the fisherman.
The fisherman told the dispatcher that they were “on the south side of Lake o’ the Pines in south west Marion County, Texas,” when they spotted a jeep.
According to the fisherman, the black jeep was “submerged about forty feet from the Woody’s Camp boat ramp. Deputies arrived at the scene as well as a local wrecker service.”
But to everyone’s surprise, as the crew was preparing to remove the jeep from the water, they discovered a woman moving inside the jeep. “With the assistance of the wrecker service, fisherman, and Marion County deputies, a female was safely rescued from the submerged jeep.”
The woman was tended to EMS before she was transferred to a local hospital. It wasn’t until after the woman was located that the Marion County Sheriff’s Office learned she “was listed as a missing person from the Longview Texas Police Department.”
“Praise God! He placed this fisherman in the right place at the right time,” one commenter wrote about the miraculous story.
“Tell me there isn’t a God. He has different plans for this lady. Thank you, Lord,” another added. “Wow! This is just mind-boggling. I sure hope we get to hear more on this story,” one more commenter shared.
It’s unclear if more about this woman’s story will be revealed or how she ended up in the water, to begin with. However, we hope the woman is healing!
