Country singer Maren Morris is opening the doors to her baby’s stunning nursery and letting fans in on her pregnancy.
The star, who is 8 months pregnant with her first child, gave her Instagram followers a quick look at her “dream nursery.” Maren’s vision was executed by Nashville-based interior designer April Tomlin.
The nursery features neutral furniture, a white-striped rug, cozy stuffed animals, a twin bed, and a gorgeous wooden crib. “Thank you, April Tomlin,” the Grammy winner wrote.
In a conversation with Taste of Country Nights, the mom-to-be shared that she chose a “more neutral, but moody palette” for her baby’s room. She explained that she chose to decorate the nursery in a way to help her unborn child better acclimate once they are on the road together.

“I want the nursery to feel really cozy and dark,” she added. “I really want the baby to be sleep trained as much as possible before I go back out on the road.”
“The Bones” singer, who is expecting a son with husband Ryan Hurd, will kick off her RSVP: The Tour soon after her child is born. Recently, the hilarious star also took to Twitter to express her confusion over playrooms.
“Someone tell me wtf a ‘playroom’ is,” Morris wrote. “When I was little, I’d play with Barbies in MY room but now people are telling me the Barbies get their OWN room. Not judging anybody, it just does not compute that a small kid gets two living spaces.”
