Ellen DeGeneres shared via Twitter that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, the talk show host is feeling fine and is hopefully on the mend.
“Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now,” she shared. “Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe. Love, Ellen.”

The talk show host is taking time off from her show and plans to return after the holidays. She shared her appreciation for all of the kind messages she’s received on Instagram, along with a photo of her snuggling with her dog Wally.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has faced a great deal controversy this year after numerous reports, by current and former employees, of racism and bullying surfaced.
After the show underwent an investigation, Ellen addressed the news with an apology.
“I know that I am in a position of privilege and power, and I realize that with that, comes responsibility and I take responsibility for what happens at my show,” she said.
Even though she’s a controversial figure right now, we wish Ellen well and hope that everyone stays safe.
