Eric Fields is a 37-year-old patrol lieutenant who has worked for Alabama’s Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for the past 20 years. made headlines last week after a photo of him shared to Facebook had many saying he was the spitting image of Johnson.

In an interview with AL.com, Fields revealed it was a “running joke” that he looks just like The Rock. People will sometimes even ask him to say the famous catchphrase “Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?”

“I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child,” Fields told AL.com. “I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.”

“I just plan on being me. I’ll cut up. I’m a big cut-up,” he added. “If it comes up and somebody says that, I’ll play along. I really couldn’t be anybody but me. I’m just glad I could be part of someone’s happiness and laughter.”

Recently, the “true” Rock gave his thoughts on the hygiene debate many actors have weighed in on.

Johnson was recently asked about his bathing habits after fellow celebrities like Ashton KutcherMila KunisKristen Bell, and Dax Shepard said they don’t bathe every day, exactly. Bell and Shepard recently admitted how they don’t shower every day — and that goes for their kiddos too!

“We bathed our children every single night—prior to bed is like the routine,” Dax said. “And then somehow, they just started going to sleep on their own without the routine, and by George, we had to start saying, ‘Hey, when’s the last time you bathed them?’”

So what about Dwayne?!

“Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb.” Johnson said in a tweet. “Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work. Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower.”
