Well, it’s more than safe to say that schooling this year is a hellscape for most parents. Some schools are open others are still shuttered. Parents are worried about the safety of their children and families. It’s just not so great right now. We have a little something that could cheer you up.
Drake served fans a dose of cuteness when he shared a rare first-day-of-school photo of his 2-year-old, Adonis. The rapper doesn’t share images of his child often, so take this opportunity to bask in some adorable.
Drake shared a first-day-of-school photo of his rarely seen son and it’s as sweet as can be.
“First Day Of School…The World Is Yours kid” the “In My Feelings” singer is certainly all in his at the moment. Look at that little angel.
Adonis decided to sport cornrows and a chic black outfit for the big day. We think this toddler has got style for days.
Adonis’ mom, Sophie Brussaux, was also pretty excited for her son.
“First day of school! Mom is proud of her big boy (and part-time little koala),” she wrote in French.
Adonis has on the backpack so we know he means business! Today we learned that Louis Vuitton is making face masks so that was also a bit of news for us. It’s a look that says “safe, but in style.”
Drake has kept relatively quiet about his family, but fans were treated to the first photos of him earlier this year. The star wrote at the time, in part, “What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light. This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy.”
“I love and miss my beautiful family and friends, and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite” he also added.

In an interview with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio, the singer spoke about his decision to finally share the images. “I posted those pictures — it was great for me,” he said at the time. “It was great to just share that with the world.”
“I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” he later added, speaking about his choice to share the photos. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So I just wanted to free myself of that.”

The rapper also praised the host, Wayne Carter, for inspiring him when it came to fatherhood. “I could just tell the way your kids would stare at you that the time and effort that you put in as a father,” Drake said. “So, that was really inspiring for me just to know that I can still keep pushing forward as a musician and be there for my son.”
Adonis is just too cute. We hope he had a great first day in class. We’re so glad that Drake and Brussaux shared more images of their son and especially the photos with the face masks. There’s are a new feature for students returning to school in 2020, but they do help minimize risks.
