Donald J. Trump’s Oldest Sister Maryanne Trump Barry Dead at 86

Maryanne Trump Barry, former President Donald J. Trump’s older sister, has reportedly passed away.

Barry was 86 years old.

According to ABC News, a source has shared that Barry was discovered in her New York City apartment at about 4 a.m. on November 13.

First responders were called to her 5th avenue apartment after receiving a call of a person in cardiac arrest, ABC News reports.

During her professional years, Barry was a senior judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She retired from her position just four years ago in 2019.

She was first appointed to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, before she was appointed to the Court of Appeals in 1999 by President Bill Clinton.

According to ABC News, Barry’s retirement came as she was the subject of an “investigation into judicial misconduct related to alleged fraudulent tax and financial transactions made by her father and siblings.” The investigation came to an inconclusive end after she made the decision to retire.

It’s unclear what Barry’s relationship was like with her younger brother at the time of her passing. Barry was secretly recorded by her niece, Mary, saying her brother “has no principles.”

“All he wants to do is appeal to his base,” Barry said in the recording. “He has no principles. None. None. And his base, I mean my God, if you were a religious person, you want to help people. Not do this.”

Barry is the third of Donald’s four siblings to pass away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Trump family.
