Growing up, I was always a fan of summer. But as I get older, I’m beginning to learn that the only reason why my favorite season was summer was that I didn’t have to go to school and because my birthday is during the summer as well. As an adult, it’s all about fall.
Now that I could care less about my birthday and now that I am an adult and am forced to work year-round, my actual favorite season is fall. I love the weather, I love the aesthetic, everything about it makes me happy.
And while decorating for fall is my second favorite thing to do, next to decorating for Christmas, obviously, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite pieces of fall decor and how I use them. One of my favorite way to decorate for the fall holidays, like Thanksgiving and Halloween, is that I like to find decorations that work for it all. Pieces like pumpkins, leaves, candles, and pinecones.

This way I don’t feel like I’m putting out and taking down decorations every month once September rolls around. And obviously, everything is some variation of white, green, red, yellow, orange, and black.
However, like with most things, my interests change, and my taste changes fairly often as well. And that is why I try to keep my decorations festive, yet minimal. And when it comes to the price of decor I like to keep it affordable.
So here are some of the fall decor pieces I purchased this year and some of my favorites decoration pieces I’ve had for a while.
National Tree Company Artificial Christmas Tree
$24.71 at the time of publication
Let’s start off with this Christmas tree. Yes I know we are talking about fall, but this is a tree I keep out all year long. I call it my season tree.
2 Pack Fall Garland
$9.99 at the time of publication
And for fall, I used this fall leave garland and these small pumpkin decorations to decorate the season tree this year.
12 Piece HAKACC Fake Pumpkins
$8.09 at the time of publication
I’m one of those people who loves to decorate my dining room table all out for each holiday. So, because the fall leave garland I just shared with you comes with two pieces of garland, I used one to also run the length of my table.
Package of 12 Orange Raffia Pumpkins
$21.93 at the time of publication
Also on my table, I included a candle, some green plants, some of these raffia pumpkins, and this white pumpkin! I just love the way it turned out.
Elanze Designs Classic White 6 inch Resin Harvest Decorative Pumpkin
$14.95 at the time of publication
I actually purchased two of these pumpkins and put the second one on my desk just to bring a little fall to all the corners of my apartment. I did that similarly with the raffia pumpkins I bought. Where I thought I could use some color and some “more fall” I placed a raffia pumpkin!
Additionally, I have a wall that is completely white, but because it is made up of two big closets, it’s hard to decorate. So I decided to think outside the box and brought a traditionally outdoor decor piece inside!
Tall Outdoor Happy Fall Y’all Rustic Craft Porch Sign
$64.99 at the time of publication
This orange vertical fall sign fits perfectly in-between the closets and brings just the right amount of color and decor to that part of my apartment. So if you have a similar wall or spot in your home, this sign is perfect to help elevate it!
The Lakeside Collection Autumn Harvest Enamel Block Sign
$14.98 at the time of publication
And lastly, I love having decorations always on my TV stand! And one way to easily make it feel the most festive is with a sign. I have a “gather” sign almost like this one just under my TV. I love it!
So there you have it! These decorations are super affordable and versatile! Feel free to use them as I did, or make them your own! That’s the best part about decorating, you can do it however you want to!
So if you’re looking for new fall decor or something to add to your decoration closet, here are some options! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
