Last night on The Bachelor Joey Graziadei was forced to make a decision.
He had to choose between two women who he said he loved; Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson.
But the show didn’t end how it normally does. Yes, Joey got engaged but the way in which his relationship to Daisy ended was unlike the show had seen in recent seasons.
Instead of riding in separate cars to meet Joey at the end of the aisle, Daisy and Kelsey drove to see Joey together. The reason why? Because Daisy knew in her heart of hearts that despite falling for Joey, Joey didn’t love her back the same way he loved Kelsey back.
So Daisy Kent was the ultimate girls girl in that moment. Daisy took control of the situation, ending her relationship with Joey and returned back to Kelsey’s side. And it was what Daisy said to Kelsey in that moment that broke people’s hearts.
Before walking down to the aisle to where the man of her dreams waited with a diamond ring and a question, Daisy shared one last message with Kelsey.
For those who didn’t watch the season in its entirety, Kelsey lost her mom to breast cancer several years ago. It was a part of her past that Kelsey openly shared with Joey, the other contestants, and the audience.

Before leaving the show, Daisy told Kelsey, “I know your mom is going to be looking down on this moment and she’s going to be so happy and so proud of you.” The moment made Kelsey cry as she hugged Daisy goodbye.
Fans applauded Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson for how mature they were in that moment.
