We said it once and we will say it a thousand times again, dads are not babysitters. However, we will admit that fathers and mothers often have different skill sets as parents.
While both are equally important in a child’s life, it’s comical to see the differences in how moms and dads choose to parent. In many cases, it’s usually dad who is the fun one and mom who carriers are the day to day burdens.
Though, we know it’s not always that way.
But in one hysterical moment, a dad admitted defeat when he took his son to the park by himself one day.
The video, which dad shared on TikTok, starts off with dad feeling good about himself as he pushes the stroller along the path. However, chaos ensues when dad flips the camera around to showcase his son sitting calmly in the stroller.
Because when dad opens up the tiny window in the hood of the stroller, he realizes his baby’s not sitting in his seat. In a moment of truly palpable panic, the dad runs to the front of the stroller to examine the empty seat more closely.

And that’s when he finds that his son has slipped out of the seat and was nestled near the footrest of the stroller. It’s impossible not to laugh out loud when the dad admits he probably should have strapped his son into the stroller seat before they started on their walk.
“I’m trippin. My bad,” the dad tells his son, writing that “yeah, his mom might want to come get him.”
And commenters hilariously agreed with him, telling him to take his son home “immediately.”
“The panick when he didn’t see him …???????? he thought he lost the baby,” one commenter joked. “This is the most DAD thing ever,” another added.
While others jokingly blamed the baby for not saying anything.
