Months after revealing that they are expecting another child, pop star Ciara, and her husband, quarterback Russell Wilson are now announcing the gender of their unborn child. On April 14, the couple took to Instagram with their two oldest children to share the exciting news with their fans.
In the video, Ciara’s son and Russell’s stepson, Future, could be heard saying he wanted a boy before they did the big reveal, and their daughter, Sienna, adding that she wanted her newest sibling to be a girl.

Ciara Shares What It’s Like Being Pregnant During a Global Pandemic
Then with the help of two larger poppers, Ciara and Russell show blue smoke and confetti into the air indicating that they are having a son. This will be Russell’s first biological son.
The following day Ciara shared another video to her Instagram page. The video depicted what it was like to go to the doctor’s office for her routine ultrasound checkup during a global pandemic.
Not only did she have to wear a mask and gloves while in the appointment, but Russell wasn’t allowed to be at the appointment with her. Instead, Ciara had to FaceTime her husband who was sitting in the car outside of the doctor’s office waiting for her.
“The life of a pregnant woman in COVID-19 Era is very interesting,” Ciara wrote on Instagram. “Russ had to FaceTime me from the car for our ultrasound. We don’t hear too much about US during this time. Inviting all my pregnant women to chat with me and my doctor today on IG LIVE [at] 2 p.m.”
And other expectant mothers agreed with Ciara’s sentiments. “We’re struggling with that too! This is me and my husband’s first child together and we can’t even experience our last couple of appointments together,” one person wrote.

“I’m so glad you posted this,” another wrote. “It has been so hard going to my first appointment with my first child to see the baby heartbeat. The father of my child wants to be there for that moment and he can’t. It’s heartbreaking.”
Aside from growing a child and revealing that child’s gender, Ciara, Russell, and their kids have been enjoying their time together at home, whether that be in their home gym, learning TikTok dances, or working on their football skills.
