Christie Brinkley celebrated her 69th birthday on February 2nd and she celebrated it in the best way possible – sharing smiles and laughter with her closest friends and family members. The legendary model even gave fans an inside look at some of the festivities in a jolly and cheerful Instagram post on Sunday.
The photos (and videos) featured her three children – Alexa Ray Joel, Sailor Brinkley Cook, and Jack Paris Brinkley Cook – as well as Mindy Moak, Lisa Schifter Greenberg, Jill Rappaport, Andrew Saffir, and Daniel Benedict. The fourth slide even features a hilarious poem recited by Rappaport.

Perhaps the best part of her birthday celebration was the birthday cake – which was made by Rappaport. On the cake were two photos of Christie Brinkley – one in black and white from 50 years ago and a colored photo that was taken recently. She looked good back then, but somehow looks younger now.

Her ability to ‘defy the laws of nature’ – as Rappaport put it in her poem – has a lot of people wondering how she does it. Don’t worry, she shared some of her secrets in a separate Instagram post on February 2nd, displaying her ageless beauty in a collage of magazine covers she was featured in over the years.
In the caption, she talked about a book she wrote eight years ago titled Timeless Beauty. In the book, she details her weekly routines and some of the things she does regularly to maintain her physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, habitual, and behavioral health – all of which are of the utmost importance to her.
“I was 61 and I wrote that book because I believe we have more control over those numbers than they have over us,” she wrote – referring to her age as nothing more than a number. “I wanted to write about all the science behind nutrition and exercise, and how we can influence those number like never before.”
She explains how people have an endless supply of options when extending their wellbeing and energy, citing the many advancements in technology and science. “Those days of hiding our age are over! I’m 69 and I feel GRATEFUL! I’ve learned that gratitude, health and love are the keys to happiness,” she wrote.
If You Haven’t Read ‘Timeless Beauty’ By Christie Brinkley, Then You Should!
Christie Brinkley published the book Timeless Beauty in November 2015 at the age of 61. She wanted to help people look and feel their best for as long as possible by giving them some of the keys to prolonging life and everything that comes with it. It was her first book in nearly 30 years and, boy, is it a good one.
And even though the book was published eight years ago, the content is just as relevant now as it was before – especially since we’re now seeing the outcome. She might be 69 years old now, but she’s definitely aging in reverse and wants others to have the same experience she’s having in her older years.
“With never-before-read personal stories, beautiful photographs, hundreds of timesaving tips, plus a good dose of humor, this will be the book that every woman will want to own and share with her friends,” the description read. She shares everything from what to eat, how to exercise, what to wear, and more.
