Chrissy Teigen is currently pregnant with her third child and she took to Instagram to share her baby bump’s progress. The social media megastar and husband, John Legend announced the pregnancy earlier this month in a music video.
“Wow,” the cookbook author said while laughing in a video shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “Third baby goes fast.”

Teigen, who shares 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles with Legend, filmed the video in front of a mirror while holding her stomach with one hand. In the video, she’s captured wearing just a shawl. “How is this possible?” she asked while looking at her bump.
This isn’t the first time Teigen has marveled at her growing bump with her third child. After announcing a little one is on the way earlier this month, she posted another mirror selfie video, this time all dressed up in leggings. Teigen hilariously said, “Look at this third baby sh*t.”
While the author has shared her amazement at her pregnancy and her bump this time, she hasn’t revealed when she’s due or how far along she is. She has, however, given some indication as to when she found out her big news.
She shared on Twitter that she found out she was pregnant the same morning Legend’s album was released and appeared on Good Morning America to promote it, which was on June 19.

In a Twitter thread, the mogul explained that she conducts routine pregnancy tests each month. “So the morning of John’s album release, he wakes up at 3am to do good morning America,” she tweeted. “I woke up with him and was like man, should take my monthly test to be disappointed…”
“…I was not disappointed. But I was scared shitless. Was pretty positive you shouldn’t get your boobs out while pregnant? Pretty sure,” she continued.
“But what they say so often can be true,” Teigen joked. “When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you. In summary, my boobs hurt.”
All of the references to her “boobs” were the result of a breast reduction surgery Teigen recently underwent. As part of preparing for it, she had to take multiple pregnancy tests. The test returned a false negative and Teigen was surprised when she eventually discovered she was, indeed, pregnant.

Teigen had to use IVF to get pregnant with her first two children. So, Teigen had no reason to believe the results of her pregnancy test were wrong as she and Legend weren’t exactly trying to have a third child.
In fact, Legend has been calling the news of their third child a “quarantine surprise” he and Chrissy Teigen are “very excited” about.
