Chrissy Teigen slammed Ivanka Trump this week after the latter shared advice on what parents should do if they are stuck at home with their kids while social distancing during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Ivanka had initially tweeted her steps for having a “living room camp out!” with your children while ask requesting her followers to share their ideas using the hashtag #TogetherApart.
“After we quote pack unquote sandwiches can we please have Covid tests,” Teigen, 34, tweeted back at President Donald Trump‘s oldest daughter and political advisor.
Teigen was referencing the multiple issues with the government-supplied coronavirus testing kits, which resulted in a much lower ability in the U.S. to test for the virus relative to countries like South Korea.
She also took the time to highlight Ivanka’s privilege by responding to her tweet with another callout:

Despite a combination of manufacturing flaws by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with bureaucratic obstacles — the Trump administration claims it has conquered the aforementioned issues.
Along with that, they claim to be aggressively scaling testing capabilities around the country, alongside private laboratories and other companies.
Health officials recommend avoiding public gatherings as much as possible to slow the virus’ spread, like working from home and skipping out on gatherings of 10 people or more.
Ivanka has also continued to share positive messages elsewhere on social media during the coronavirus outbreak, her latest post praising teachers.
“I thought that my respect for our Nation’s teachers couldn’t get any higher…but after this past week it’s definitely at peak level!”
