Chris Pratt is now a dad of three! While the actor and his wife, author Katherine Schwarzenegger, are notoriously private when it comes to their private lives, the couple shared some big news with the world.
According to an Instagram post shared by Katherine, she and Pratt are now the proud parents of not one but two daughters! As the post revealed, on Saturday, May 21, Pratt and Schwarzenegger welcomed their second daughter into the world.

The couple named her Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. “We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. We feel beyond blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris,” the caption read.
Chris Pratt shared a similar post, except he shared an update about how his wife and baby girl are doing. “Mama and baby are doing well,” the actor wrote.
Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, commented on her daughter’s post, congratulation her daughter and son-in-law. “Bravo, baby, your such an awesome mama. Your little girl is so lucky,” Shriver wrote along with the four-leaf clover emoji.
The proud grandmother also reposted the announcement on her own Instagram page, writing, “The birth of any child is a miracle. It’s a joy, a blessing! It’s an extraordinary honor to watch your child become a parent. Now for the second time, I feel deeply blessed and overjoyed!”
Shriver went on to call her daughter “such an extraordinary and loving mom” and her son-in-law “a wonderful father.” “Eloise is so blessed, as is her entire family. Eloise, we welcome you, and we thank god you are here!”
Just three days ago, Katherine shared a photo of her and Pratt’s oldest daughter as they played outside with dolls and ponies. The proud mom called the moment a dream come true.
“Just me and my girl, cuddling and playing with dolls and ponies….A dream come true,” the caption read. Amazingly, you couldn’t tell at all Katherine was just about ready to give birth.
The couple welcomed their first daughter into the world in August 2020. Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt will celebrate her second birthday this year! The couple did not yet share how Lyla is enjoying being a big sister!
