Losing weight is hard, and no matter who you are, if you’ve been working to lose a few pounds, it’s helpful to have a supportive team cheering you on as you go through the process.
Chelsea Clinton was recently interviewed for The Cut and revealed she did not feel Beyoncé had such a supportive team in her corner when the multi-hyphenate star reveled in her weight loss after giving birth to twins, Rumi and Sir.

Clinton and her husband, Marc Mazvinsky, had been watching Beyoncé’s Homecoming, the documentary film that chronicled her Coachella concert. In one scene, Beyonce is excited because she fits into old costumes after losing pregnancy weight. Wanting to share her excitement, she FaceTimes her husband, Jay Z, who doesn’t seem all that excited by the news.
The clip appears in the video below, along with other Homecoming clips in which Beyoncé discusses the extreme diet she followed to get her body back in shape.

Clinton told The Cut, “It wasn’t the ‘I’m so proud of you. That’s amazing’ that I arguably think any woman deserves, particularly someone who has clearly worked herself body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit to get to that place.”

Clinton was very disappointed in Jay’Z’s lackluster response, saying, “I bet every woman watching this has this sense of ‘She deserves more enthusiasm.”
Clinton and her husband welcomed their third child, Jasper, in July. They are also parents to Aiden, 3, and Charlotte, 5. Clinton and her mom, Hilary Rodham Clinton, also recently released a new book, The Book of Gutsy Women.
