Chase Chrisley is the latest Chrisley child to share his thoughts on his parents’ sentencing, which happened a week ago. The courts found both Todd and Julie Chrisley guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, tax fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States – Julie was also found guilty of wire fraud.
As a result of their crimes, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison – both will serve a 16-month probation period after prison. And while it brings an end to a tumultuous court battle for the family, Todd and Julie fully intend to appeal the sentence and fight back.
Until then, the Chrisley family will be without their mother and father as they prepare to begin their sentence at the start of the new year. It’ll be 2030 by the time Julie gets out and 2035 when Todd gets out unless they can find a way to reduce those sentences in their upcoming legal battles and appeals.

In an Instagram Story on Monday, Chase Chrisley finally shared his thoughts on his parents’ sentencing. He wasn’t that direct with his comments, instead opting to share a story – more like a revelation – he had when talking to his friend. They were golfing when his friend asked what his dinner plans were that day.
“A good friend of mine unexpectedly lost his wife. A couple of months later we were golfing together, chatting about nothing. He asked what my dinner plans were and I told him wifey wanted my homemade chili and cornbread, but I didn’t feel like stopping at the store,” said Chase Chrisley in an Instagram Story.
The two continued golfing before his friend stopped and said, “Make the chili.” Those three words didn’t seem like much in the moment, but it made Chase search for a deeper meaning – until he found it. “It took me a few minutes to realize we were no longer talking about dinner,” he said, continuing the story.
“It was about going out of your way to do something for someone you love because, at any moment, they could unexpectedly be taken from you. So today I’m sharing with you that wisdom handed to me by my dear friend, that I’ve thought of many times since that day,” he said, urging others to attend to loved ones.
Chase Chrisley Isn’t the Only One Sharing His Thoughts
Chase Chrisley certainly hit home with his recent message about family, doing so in a way that everyone can relate to and better understand where he’s coming from. It’s something most of his siblings and step-siblings have already done – including Savannah Chrisley, Kyle Chrisley, and Lindsie Chrisley.
Savannah, Todd and Julie’s oldest daughter, shared a quote from pastor Kimberly Jones. “Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted and hated on him. Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking,” the quote read, which was originally shared by Jones on Twitter.
Kyle, who Todd Chrisley shares with ex-wife Teresa Terry, quoted a bible verse. “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Who do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?” his post read.

And finally, we have Lindsie – Todd Chrisley’s oldest daughter, who he also shares with his ex-wife Teresa Terry. She also quoted a bible verse. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit,” the post read. It appears the family is sticking together, despite the recent turn of events.
