Earlier last month, actress Denise Richards’ 17-year-old daughter spoke out against her mom in a TikTok. According to Sami Sheen, whose dad is actor Charlie Sheen, she alleged that she was brought up in an “abusive” household.
According to a Page Six report, Sami told her followers that she has moved out of her mother’s home and is now living with her dad. Now, there is more to this story.

A New Court Ruling ‘Blindsided’ Denise Richards After Oldest Daughter Moved in With Dad Charlie Sheen
According to a Los Angeles judge, at a court hearing on Monday the judge adjusted the child support Charlie Sheen was paying to his ex-wife. According to documents obtained by People, the child support payment was adjusted to “zero dollars per month” commencing from August 1, 2018.
“Charlie Sheen filed two years ago and kept pushing the court date, so Denise was very surprised that it happened yesterday while she is out of town filming. She was blindsided,” the source said, further alleging, “Now he’s manipulating the situation.”
“Lola does not live with Charlie. She lives with both of her parents and stays with Charlie when Denise is out of town. When Denise is back, Lola will be with her,” the source clarified. “This is very disappointing for Denise, but also not surprising. Charlie is pitting the girls against their mother, which is horrible.”
Obviously, because she was filming, Richards was not in attendance. However, despite the statement from the above source, another insider told People that Richards allegedly knew about the court date for six months.
In her TikTok, Sami went on to say that she felt “trapped” in her mother’s home. She told her followers that she “finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school.”
At the time, Charlie confirmed the news that his daughter now lives with him in a statement made through his publicist. “Sam is amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come.”
A source later claimed that the rules Richards set for her child are “normal rules that any parent would be setting.” However, the source claims that it was Sami who was being “defiant.”
“She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. [Sami] didn’t want to follow the rules,” the source told People. “Charlie Sheen didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad.”
The sources further claimed that Denise is hurt by the accusations her daughter allegedly made. “Denise loves her daughter very much and she’s saddened by the situation.”
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen also share a 16-year-old daughter Lola Rose. She still lives with Denise. In previous interviews, Denise has owned up to be a “strict parent.”
“I definitely have rules and boundaries, and there are consequences,” Denise told People in the past. She later added that she “doesn’t just let her daughters ‘do whatever they want.’”
Some of those rules applied to social media. “I really do think it’s not healthy for kids at all and there’s a responsibility with it,” the mom of three said about social media.
“When I get negative comments, there are times where even at my age,” she says, “it still hurts and it’s hard.” She adds, “I’m still having those conversations, and they’re endless, and it’s very challenging.”
