On Sept. 25, actors Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan finalized their divorce, six years after Dewan filed to end their marriage.
According to the Associated Press, Tatum and Dewan stipulated to terms in a court filing, avoiding a trial that was set to begin in December.
The former couple was embroiled in a lengthy legal battle around the division of their assets and custody of their daughter, 13-year-old Everly.
Details of the agreed upon settlement have been kept confidential. The settlement now awaits a judge’s approval.
Tatum and Dewan wed in 2009 after meeting on the set of their hit movie “Step Up.” They ended their marriage in 2018, the AP reports.
A judge declared Tatum and Dewan divorced and single in November 2019.
Both Tatum and Dewan have since found themselves in new relationships despite their ongoing divorce. Tatum is engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz and Dewan is engaged to actor Steve Kazee, whom she shares two children with.
Shortly after news of their divorce agreement was made public, Dewan took to Instagram, sharing two images that caught the attention of her fans.
First, Dewan took to Instagram to share several photos of her life as a mom and actress with the caption, “Thank you universe.”
She then took to her Instagram story to share a popular image of actress Nicole Kidman that was captured after she finalized her divorce from Tom Cruise.
Tatum hasn’t posted to his Instagram account since Sept. 3.
